Rosemary also contributes to the protection of the environment by partnering with Legambiente (“League for the Environment”, the most widespread Italian environmental organization), Minimo Impatto (a portal and shop providing sustainable products such as eco kitchenware, ecodiapers and ecocosmetics), Barikama (a project run by young African and Italian with Asperger syndrome, producing yogurt and vegetables while managing the bar at the parco Nemorense) and Elebike (a company that offers electric bikes rental & tours).

Ecoplanner is a company run by 5 women (an economist, an art historian and 3 architects) with the common wish to take care of nature by organizing green events.
From parties & weddings to meetings & team buildings, passing through workshops & labs, all projects are aimed to promote green lifestyle while minimizing their environmental impact.
The team can organize an entire event or just add green details to it, such as an organic and km zero banqueting, a country location and so on.
The Escosazio (leaving sated) team describes it as a “lab of take-away flavours promoting the wellness pleasure” and they are not wrong: organic fruit and vegetables are daily turned into fresh juices, shakes, smoothies, salads and even veggie sushi!

Dar Parucca is an humble Roman restaurant situated in the Pigneto district and run by two nice friends always at disposal for a chat.

Born in 2012, MAAM is an artistic project by Giorgio De Finis (anthropologist, movie maker, independent artist and curator), that offers an alternative choice to the well-known museums of Rome.
MAAM is hosted inside Metropoliz, an abandoned ex-salami factory converted into a shelter for a community of homeless, especially “Romas”, that has firstly been the stage of “Space Metropoliz”, a movie by De Finis.
The museum offers a kitchen for lunching during or after the visit and the menu is made by women only, coming from 7 different cultures.
Saltatempo is an organic restaurant located inside a small green area on the east side of Rome; the area, which was destined to disappear by being converted into a road, was saved by a social occupation in 1999.
The restaurant produce comes from organic and auto-certified farmers and are chosen by seasonality and in accordance with the km zero concept.
The dinner can be served inside or outside and always include vegan meals too. Every Thursday they offer a fixed-price menu made by a first and a second course with vegetables, a dessert and a couple of glasses of wine.
The Mercato Contadino Tiburtino is a direct sale farmer market promoted by Provincia di Roma that takes place every Tuesday and Saturday from 8.30 till 13.00 in Cacciarella park.

Born in 2010, Fabio is handled by two guys coming from different cooking experiences.
The place is small but not the offer: every day they can prepare salads, sandwiches, smoothies and milk shakes that meet customers choices by giving them the chance to choose the ingredients.

Casale Podere Rosa is a quiet country house managed by a no profit association that promotes earth and human rights respect through its activities, which include a great number of courses and conferences.
The house has a restaurant and a bar, where you can eat and drink in the organic and fairtrade’s name with a choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
After dinner, you can also spend your time watching a movie at the “Cineforum” or enjoying a concert organized by the association.
Active from 2012, Ecogitando is an association specialized in wedding catering.
The association mission is to assist future couples choosing their special day location, food, wine and floral arrangements.
From the menu printed on eco paper to the eco-friendly decoration, Ecogitando plans weddings keeping an eye on the planet resources.

Born in 2001, Biopolis Store is a supermarket specialized in organic food, ecological and herbalist products’ sale.
The shop selects products obtained respecting the natural productive cycles and according to the ethical values which are the basis of their production.
They strongly believe in values such as sustainability, solidarity and sharing by making ethical and responsible choices, feeling part of the community, growing up trough a common project .
Next to the Biopolis store, the Biopolis cafè offers vegan, vegeterian and gluten/lactose free recipes.
The cafè has been designed with a natural and eco-conscious style.
Other than food, the cafè also offers free-wi-fi, artistic events and even a mums & babies corner.
Born in 1977 from a group made by young unemployed, day laborers and farmers, it was formed with the aim to create more farmer jobs and to prevent constructions on the environmentally important occupied area.
In 1996, after having been illegally occupied for almost 20 years, the farm gets the licence for their grown fields.
Today is formed by two restaurants, a teaching farm, a picnic area and few food shops located in different spots.
Moreover the farm includes an horse club located into a WWF area offering excursions and equine-assisted therapies.
Martini bed is a b&b located in the south-east side of Rome, between Ciampino airport and historical city centre.

Romana is a vintage daily fresh ice cream and pastries shop located in Rome city centre.
They offer traditional ice cream flavours and cakes made exclusively with selected products, following recipes of the past.

The Beehive is a stylish, budget, eco-conscious hostel located 2 blocks north from Termini train&bus station, right in the center of Rome (Colosseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are only 20 minutes walk away).
